Designation - Associate Director, Valuation Service
Location - Delhi NCR
Roles and responsibilities:
- Execute valuation engagements related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity reporting, FEMA regulatory requirements, IT requirements, financial reporting purposes like purchase price allocation, impairment testing, financial instrument valuation etc.
- Client and business overview analysis - actively participate in client meetings to understand the key business highlights and history, product offering, competitors, macro and micro economic factors, future expansion and investment plans etc.
- Establish trusting relationships with client contacts and with team members.
- Aware of key industry trends and metrics as well as have good industry level connects
- Develop and Review financial models - review and analyze financial forecast models, vet underlying assumptions against macro and micro-economic factors, analyze key industry trends, competitor analysis, future capital mix analysis and review expansion/investment plan etc.
- Make recommendations to client based on the various findings during the engagement.
- Work closely with corporates, venture capitalists, private equities and other investors wherever required.
- Regularly share expertise with team members to support continuous learning and effectively supervise and monitor team members.
- Participate in Business Development Activities (Proposal Writing, Credentials compilation, Preparing Bid documents).
- Assist in thought leadership publications.
- Handle multiple engagement reviews.
- Impart trainings on technical concepts.
- Finalization of the valuation and the report.
- Team mentoring
- Comply with organizational rules, policies, and procedures.
- Provide support for initiatives that enable growth for organization and its clients.
- Coordinates implementation of tools, processes and programs for building efficiency and sustainability for organization and its clients.
Expected profile:
- MBA (top tier B-School), CA or CFA
- 11 - 14 years of experience.
- Prior experience in a professional consultancy firm is preferred
- Executed some of following types of engagements in the past:
- Valuations related to Mergers and Acquisitions. Should have worked on mercy deals.
- Valuation relating to financial reporting which include purchase price allocation, financial instrument valuation, impairment testing, valuation of intangibles.
- Played a strategy role in the industry of focus
