Associate Director - IT Infrastructure

Position : IT Infrastructure Associate Director

Location : Mumbai

Requisites :

- University degree from a top-tier institute, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics.

- Certifications on CISCO / EMC / Citrix

- 12 years+ relevant experience on relevant technologies such as CISCO, Avaya, Citrix, EMC

- Significant experience managing and leading Infrastructure build and support teams (both small & big) across global locations, diverse functions preferably in a shared services organization

- Should have managed team sizes of 20-50, specialized infrastructure personnel

- Exposure to operating mid-size data centers

- Exposure to ITIL V3

- Extensive experience in planning, budgeting and allocation, implementation and administration, including Solution design for complex IT Infrastructure projects

Responsibilities:

The Associate Director, IT infrastructure leads teams responsible for deployment and support of enterprise Infrastructure consisting of LAN / WAN data networks, Telecom, MPLS, Datacenter, Citrix, Servers and Storage

- Part of core IT Infrastructure Leadership group, is Involved in design and architecture of Infrastructure capabilities

- Manages the activities of a unit that is comprised of Infrastructure specialists and contract staff involved in new roll outs and support.

- Coaches and mentors staff and managers under direct report

- Plan, organize, direct and control the activities and resources required to carry out multiple, simultaneous Infrastructure projects and support activities involving multi-disciplinary teams. Share and align plans with functional shareholders.

- Provide cost benefit and project feasibility assessments

- Develops an efficient working model with local IT consulting firms to deliver projects with highest quality, value added service to internal stakeholders and ensure customer improvement initiatives are well established.
