Associate Director - Instructional Design - EdTech

The Opportunity :

- Lead Instructional Design for Emeritus Insights

- Create short (45 minute) online courses with educators and thought leaders

- Evaluating scripts for converting online courses

- Able to handle multiple learning modules at a time

- Initiate a learning module in the form of course of books and once streamlined, delegate, and detach quickly

- Strong ability to train and mentor team members and vendors

- Work with team to ensure timelines are met; monitor the course progress based on team efficiency and take proactive and corrective measures when needed

Specialized knowledge : Instructional design, online learning, video-based learning, mobile learning; 

Other characteristics : Team player, ability to work in a global, virtual team

- Prior experience in a startup environment will be helpful, innovative, attention to detail, ability to grasp technical concepts and simplify them visually, and an inclination towards understanding academic content.

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Educational Tech, Instructional Design, Mass Communication, or Journalism. An MBA degree is highly desirable.

Professional certification : Instructional design, video editing a plus
