Level: Associate Director

Role: Innovation Management Leader

Location: Trivandrum

Experience: 15-22 years

- Provides leadership and oversight to managing and delivering Company's initiatives through a defined innovation process, responsible for delivering high-performance outcomes from the team collectively.

- The ideal candidate is a go-getter who enjoys the challenge of solving business ideas in the fast-paced technology and digital landscape and can effectively motivate and manage Company's teams working across disciplines and geographies. The person will demonstrate a strong belief in design-thinking to conceive and prototype innovative solutions while establishing the relationships across teams and disciplines to deliver against performance targets. An entrepreneurial and can do mindset is a must.

The position will report to the Company Leader, Client Technology

Essential Functions:

- Act strategically to serve the CT and Company's goals including determining the right partnerships to drive innovation and support the Company's objectives

- Influence, ideate and collaborate with business leaders, TO organizations, other Innovation teams to identify and create new ideas that help meet organizational objectives

- Sustains & optimizes a self-directed team model, fostering a culture of innovation, & creativity and delivering high-performance outcomes

- Ensures adherence to the innovation process, and develops protocols that support the creative process of discovering opportunities, building concepts through experimental prototypes.

- Help advance concepts with sound desirability, feasibility and viability and handing off new offerings to Engineering and TO organizations and thereby ensuring adoption.

- Actively seeks and reviews suggestions for improvement in the innovation process through team mediated retrospection

- Work closely together with Solution Architecture to ensure that Technology Innovation is supported by the right architectures and standards.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

- Demonstrate a strong belief in design-thinking and agile innovation.

- Possess breadth in technology and business knowledge - sound knowledge on latest and emerging technologies and line of business

- Identify and spot opportunities in a fast-changing market with the ability to drive the ideas through innovation funnel

- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written paired with the ability to tailor the message to global audiences

- Ability to build relationships in a remote setting and willingness to travel to meet with Technology and Business leaders to ensure effective collaboration.

- Decision-making ability, balancing what is right with what is realistic

- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change

- Ability to work and team with a multitude of people from various parts of the Business and CT

- Possess a high energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure

- Ability to lead through influence, manage cultural differences and motives.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Education:

- Graduate/Post Graduate in a Technology or Management based specialism

Experience:

- 15-20 years of relevant industry experience with a focus on Technology, Product Development, Innovation Management or Consulting

- Experience in running and managing Business Units and Technology teams
