Associate Director - Information Systems - Media & Broadcasting Company

Job opportunity for position of Associate Director with a top Media & Broadcasting Company based in Mumbai.

Title: Associate Director, IS

Function: Information Systems

Reporting to: CTO

Responsibilities:

- Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring that IT facilities meet these needs

- Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.

- scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems

- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements

- guaranteeing the smooth running of all IT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision

- ensuring that software licensing laws are adhered to

- providing secure access to the network for remote users

- securing data from internal and external attack

- offering users appropriate support and advice

- Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems

- Mentoring and training IT support staff

- Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects

- Ability to make technical schematic drawing using Autocad or similar software

- Ability to prioritize workload of team
