Associate Director - Impact Investment - Debt

Responsibilities :

- The Director will be responsible for managing relationships with investors and developing strategies to build our loan portfolio, while also managing the internal operations required to enhance the organization's efficiency and growth.

- The Director will work closely with the Executive Director and administrative and finance staff on organizational strategy, outreach and operations.

Responsibilities will include :

- Managing and expanding relationships with investors to build investor portfolio, including prospect research and presentations;

- Managing systems to support investor relationships and outreach, including investor reporting, loan renewals, and filing with state regulators and, as needed, federal agencies;

- Managing the issuance and maintenance of loan guarantees and manage all stakeholders involved.

- Overseeing the preparation of investor materials, including the annual debt prospectus, quarterly and annual reports;

- Driving the development, implementation and evaluation of the organizational work plan, as part of the staff planning and management team.

- Managing day-to-day operations, including budgets, benefits, relationships with legal and financial advisors, and human resources coverage.

Qualifications and Requirements :

- Previous experience in impact / community investing and international development, with relevant experience managing investor relations, compliance, and reporting.

- Previous experience in an internal operational role, with a proven ability to manage small teams with limited resources, develop and implement systems to improve efficiency.

- Excellent analytical, general business, organizational and time management skills, with proven experience managing budgets and investments in a transparent and effective way.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated success in solving problems and collaborating with diverse stakeholders (e.g., across race, gender, class, and cultural lines).

- A commitment to racial and economic justice, with an understanding of India social impact sector preferred.

- Strong consulting skills and ability to project manage multiple linkages.
