Associate Director - Global Mobility Services - CA

Primary purpose of the role:

- Assisting in growing GMS practice in Mumbai

- Team management

- End-to-end project management which may include preparation of Tax computations and assisting in Documentation / Compliance/ Assessments/ Advisory work for employee / Expatriate tax & Social Security, New Labour codes etc.

Major responsibilities & deliverables:

- Key role in growing GMS practice in Mumbai with a specific target

- Assist in pitches like preparing proposals, respond to Request for Proposals etc.

- Client management

- Team management

- Management of project time cost

- Handling end-to-end individual tax compliances for expatriates (inbound and outbound) like preparation of tax computations, quarterly withholding tax returns, withholding tax certificate, India Income Tax return etc.

- Assisting clients in obtaining in tax registrations, Form-30C, Form-30A, Certificate of Coverage

- Prepare/review updates based on reviews of tax case laws, CBDT Circulars & notifications, updates from EPFO, etc

- Developing position papers related to taxation of individuals

- Delivering new labour codes related assignments

Skills Required:

- Strong Tax Technical Skills including taxation of individuals with a focus on taxation of employment income

- Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal/written communication, inter-personal skills

- Ability to generate and grow GMS practice

- Team management skills

- End-to-end project management skills

- Client relationship management skills

Qualifications required:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant

- Experience required, Any Specific Industry / Company exposure:

- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in Global Mobility Services
