PURPOSE

The Enterprise Architect/Business Process Analyst interacts with Business leaders in the the Biosimilars Business to create an IT strategy based on the business strategy and implements this to deliver business outcomes

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- B.E. / B.Sc in Computer Science /IT

- MBA from a reputed institution is desirable

- PMP Certification desirable

- 7-10 years experience in the IT industry/department

- 5+ years in Business Process Analysis and Enterprise architecture with proven success in delivering business outcomes

- Experience managing large projects/Programs

- Experience in hands-on software development in the early part of the career is desirable

- 1-2 years in Pharma industry on GxP related projects is desirable

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture: Understand the business strategy and create an IT roadmap and Systems architecture to support the business objectives. Create and maintain a holistic view of the organization's business processes, information/data architecture and information technology assets. Build knowledge repository of best practices, KPI- s, and benchmarks

2. Building process efficiency: Analyze the business unit's activities and document current processes. Develop key metrics to measure the business and improve operating processes. Investigate and identify process performance drivers and root causes of process inefficiencies; correct or develop new processes, as appropriate in order to achieve improved performance. Present findings and work with the Business Unit Leader and other key stakeholders to frame tactical and strategic goals.

3. Leverage IT to enable business: Deep dive on technology options and make recommendations on technology solutions to improve business processes. Develop, define, and build business cases for process/ technology change. Support leadership in key decisions such as build vs. buy and selection of off-the-shelf technology solutions. Understand critical business and information technology risks. Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.

Develop use cases and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents. Ensure that all tests are conducted and documented according the standards agreed upon by the business unit and IT.

4. Program Management: Take business process improvement from the conceptualization phase to the final implementation. Create and deploy a program strategy and fully own the delivery of proposed outcomes through various projects in the program

5. Change Management: Develop communication and change management plans as they relate to process improvement. Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, department leads and external client/vendors in implementing the change. Bring to effect, the expected improvements from IT implementation, in the relevant functional areas. Be a change agent to instill continuous improvement culture
