Besides the core medical and surgical areas of the hospital, its facility provides several support services, rehab services and value added services to patients and families. About the Role

Designation: Associate Director/Director

Reports to: Managing Director

Location: Pune, MH

Roles and Responsibilities

- Handling the non-medical operations & administration so that the resources are handled most effectively and efficiently while furthering the hospital objective of excellence

- To define and manage annual plan to meet defined objectives by the management

- Manage non-medical operations, Quality, Finance, HR, Procurement and other departments

- Responsible for quality management, medico legal issues, patients relations, interaction with statutory and government authorities, legal compliance

- Cost optimization in all departments of the hospital and management of financial aspects of the hospital which will be in the line of budgets and plans and to see that the implementation is done perfectly

- Oversee the purchase and pharmacy departments

- Maintaining and upgrading the quality of patient care according to the standards laid down

- Interacting with the statutory authorities to comply with statutory requirements

- Strategizing activities to ensure the continuous growth in top line

- Managing all infrastructural requirements of the hospital ensuring availability of medical infrastructures such as equipment, instruments, drugs etc and non-medical infrastructure including facilities, housekeeping, food & beverages etc.

- Managing the human resources required for the efficient functioning of the hospital

- Ensure that good talent is attracted, trained and retained in the Organization

- Advising and providing feedback to the Top Management in order to improve and positively impact functioning of the Organization

- Responsible for patient service and feedback for further enhancing service level quality

Operational leadership experience - exceptional capacity for managing and leading people; a team builder who has experience in scaling up organizations; ability to connect staff both on an individual level and in large groups; capacity to enforce accountability, and cultivate ownership

Excellent Collaboration and communication skills - Collaboration and communication skills along with ability to develop partner

General business acumen - the thorough understanding of a full range of business functions and systems; ie. Finance, HR, planning & budgeting, business analysis, information system for hospitals

Healthcare experience at-least 5+ years- experience of handling the operations of minimum 200-bed hospital

Requirements

Any Graduate (Medical Education Preferred)

10+ Years- experience of which 5+ years should be managing the hospital administration

MBA from premium B School / PD Diploma or Degree in Hospital Administration would be plus
