Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Procurement: Develop and execute IT procurement strategies that align with the Firm's goals and objectives.
2. Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with IT vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
3. Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost- effective procurement of IT products and services.
4. Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with the Firm's policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
5. Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential IT vendors and suppliers, and assess their capabilities and reliability.
6. Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage IT procurement contracts, including service level agreements (SLAs) and terms and conditions.
7. Budgeting: Work with CIO and IT Managers to develop and manage IT procurement budgets and forecasts.
8. Inventory Management: Oversee IT asset and inventory management to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste.
9. Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement activities, including supply chain disruptions and security concerns.
10. Team Leadership: Collaborate with other IT Managers and support them in their projects with respect to timely deliveries and organising services from vendors.
11. Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance to senior management.
