Associate Director/Director - Demand Planning & Forecasting - Startup - B School Candidates required

- Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of the demand planning function.

- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

- Interact with sales, product, and the customer to understand demand forecast drivers.

- Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with Growth & Operations to ensure dissemination of relevant information to and from the wider planning functions of the business.

- Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand & supply planning processes.

- Fully understand the key supply/resource planning parameters(lead-time, planning cycle, supply reliability, demand variability, customer service target etc), working capital targets and E2E process

- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business strategies

- Responsible for leading discussion with a team (Marketing, Growth, Sales and Operations) to produce a scientifically based operational forecast and annual business plan, in order to advise and challenge senior management when agreeing the overall business forecast

Skillset required :

- Strong academic background with graduate degree in engineering from premier engineering colleges and Masters in Business from B schools

- 6 - 8 years experience in a demand and supply planning/forecasting role.

- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
