Associate Director/Director - Corporate Development & Investor Relations - FinTech

Our client is a well-funded Fintech looking to hire an Associate Director/Director in their Corporate Development team specifically focusing on equity fund raising and investor relations.

#Candidates with prior experience in the field of fund raising at start-ups will be strongly preferred for the role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Managing fund raise processes end-to-end, meeting critical timelines while working with internal and external stakeholders

- Preparing impactful business case, information memorandums, teasers and other transaction related materials for internal and external stakeholders

- Leading and coordinating cross functional due diligence processes covering tax, legal, financial, commercial and technical work-streams

- Leading the negotiation and completion of related transaction documents (term sheets, investment agreements, etc) underlying the transaction, while ensuring commercial interests are protected.

- Building out short-term as well as long-term business plans / financial models with underlying assumptions, historical financials, KPI build-up etc.

- Relationship / stakeholder management with current and potential investors to keep them updated, engaged, and excited about the company's business and its prospects

- Contributing across the other corporate development activities mentioned above

Experience & Required Skills:

- MBA or CA with 7-12 years of work experience

- Strong knowledge of corporate finance fundamentals, experience in valuation and integration exercises

- Must have been involved in at least one full fund raise cycle (preferably series B, C, D) with full ownership of end-to-end process.
