POSITION - Associate Director / Director - Business Development

INDICATIVE JOB PROFILE :

1. Position Summary

Candidate will be responsible for generating new business and expansion of business through good working relationships with new & existing contacts.

2. General Responsibilities: 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES : 

- Exploring business possibilities by understanding the industry and its development path.

- Sensing potential threat in the market and converting the threat into possible business opportunity.

- Meeting the client and briefing on the service offerings. Understanding clients requirement and sending business proposals with due approval of higher officials.

- Negotiating and agreeing on commercial terms & conditions with the client in line with the company policies.

- Procuring assignments with clarity in terms of scope of work and deliverables.

- Develop and maintain cordial client relations to ensure a good understanding of their current and future priorities and to identify new leads for other service offerings across the company.

- Perform market and data analysis to evaluate new market expansion opportunities.

- Conduct site visits with channel partners/ consultants; lead meetings with potential landlord partners.

- Conduct a thorough financial analysis to gauge the feasibility of potential options.

- Oversee term sheet and lease negotiations; ensure advantageous terms; deal structuring, lease agreement finalization and signing.

- Ensure smooth coordination with internal legal, finance, design and project management teams.

- Work with our legal team to perform the due diligence and register the property agreement.

Critical Job Competencies/Requirements : 

- Channel Management & Expansion - Ability to manage existing channel and expand footprints wherever there is an opportunity. Good understanding of market and catchment in terms of market mapping and leasing

Communication and presentation skills - Excellent communication skills

- Frequently interact with internal and external partners for collaboration

- Negotiation for mutual agreement and problem resolution

- Strong relating skills for building trustful partnership with internal and external business partners.

- Business acumen Sensitive to market trend, comfortable to work on financial figures and numbers.

- Can do attitude / Leadership skills - Innovative, energetic and results oriented, open minded and flexible in a fast-paced changing environment

- Demonstrated leadership and ability to lead the team and drive business

3. Job Experience & Requirements : 

Education: 

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/ Bachelors of Business Administration

 - MBA

Experience Requirements : 

- 10-25 years of experience . Candidates from REAL ESTATE / Retail expansion experience with FASHION BRANDS background.

- Independent role.

Mobility/Travel: Yes

Computer Skills : Basic Computer Knowledge
