Direct Tax Advisory - Associate Director

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Addressing / reviewing technical queries raised by clients.

- Concept creation and product development based on key legislative changes.

- Accompanying team in meetings / calls with the clients, as and when required.

- Preparing / reviewing various research / position papers.

- Liaising with external counsels to obtain opinions on key matters.

- Updating, maintaining and periodically reviewing quality content on internal KM database.

- Sharing technical inputs for news alerts, thought leadership, quotes, budget exercise etc.

- Planning and implementing technical program on current developments / significant case laws / relevant topics from domestic and international tax laws on monthly basis to the Tier 1 group.

- Development of standard submissions, representations and checklists for tax

- Identifying key developments and sharing them with Tax Tier I team and help in identifying marketing opportunities .

- Identifying important case laws / other developments for news alerts to be released -internal / external group.

- Developing and finalizing contents of tax podcast released at regular intervals by the firm.

- Developing thought leadership publications.

- Developing content for presentations tax partners for various seminars and conferences.

Desired Profile :

- Education ; CA/ LLB

- 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in tax advisory, regulations and litigations

- Team player.

- Very good communication skills

- Acts as mentor / guide to the team members.

- Professional approach with inclination towards work.
