- Give suppliers a precise view of your material requirements, accounting for potential switchovers.

- Keeping in touch with vendors, purchasing, the zone technical department (ZTD), and other parties to assure the availability of supplies and utilities

- Improve the quality of the materials by collaborating with direct suppliers.

- Oversee the development of direct materials, methods, or technologies from the conceptual stage through to the implementation at an industrial scale by leading and carrying out projects in this area.

- Taking the lead in benchmarking for direct materials by assessing trends and developments and, if appropriate, suggesting changes to our current packaging and processes to maintain ongoing quality and cost improvements.
