Director - Business Intelligence & Analytics

Job Description in Brief: Responsible for scaling Self-Serve BI Infrastructure and Analytics, The individual should be a self-starter and have an ownership driven attitude. Prior exposure to digital commerce/logistics would be preferred. This role requires the candidate to be hands on as well as guide junior members of the team

Key Result Areas (KRA's) :

- Data Availability and Accuracy : Work with the Business Teams to collect the requirements for data integrations and then work with the data engineering team to ensure that accurate data is available for consumption by all stakeholders.

- Self Serve BI :- Ensure that the data available can be consumed either through various dashboards or through queries written on the analytics database

- Dashboards and Reports :- Deliver BI Dashboards & Reports (using BI Tools, scripts) across all functions to support the decision-making process. These requirements will be driven through standard Business Requirement documents (BRD's)

- Decision making and Analytical Project :- Translate business needs into analytical problems, and work with functional SPOCs to deliver data-driven actionable recommendations, frameworks for decision making and analytical projects

- Data Warehouse/Data Lake :- Should have basic understanding of Data warehouse/data lake in order to nurture an efficient and effective data Infrastructure

Skill sets Required :

- Technical Exposure (Hands On) :- Proficiency in SQL, python and at least one Self-Serve analytics tool viz., Tableau, Zoho Analytics, Sisense, Data Studio or similar other tools is a must

- Business Exposure :- The candidate is expected to understand the business and the metrics related to the business. This is vital to effectively contribute to the Business and to communicate with the Business Teams
