- Financial audits provide an independent opinion on a company's financial report and are a critical element in the capital markets system. PwC also provides Assurance for business/IT processes.

The tasks, roles and responsibilities concerned with the job will include the following:

- End to end execution of client deliverables ensuring quality and timeliness

- Day to day Strategy and Planning

- Client relationship management

- People management

- Business development (Manager and above - targets set only for SM and above)

Associate:

- Executing various audit engagements as a field incharge

- Applying PwC methodology while executing various unlisted/listed audit entities

- Engaging with a team to ensure smooth closure of audit on a timely basis AM

- Handling various audit engagements as per the PwC methodology

- Maintaining good client relationships

- Managing small to medium size team for quality deliverables to the client Manager

- Assist engagement teams with financial statement reviews

- Advise clients and teams on technical accounting issues relating to IFRS and/or US GAAP

- Attend training sessions and keep yourself technically updated

- Conduct training sessions for clients and firm staff

- Assist with thought leadership initiatives

- Lead teams of conversion / accounting specialists working on conversion projects

- Assist in development of client proposals and marketing efforts

- Conduct research on technical issues and form a point of view; be able to present the point of view

- Assist with documentation of work performed

Experience:

- At least 4/5 + years (including articleship, preferably from Big 4 accounting firms At least 6/7 + years (including articleship, preferably from Big 4 accounting firms

Qualification:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant

Essential Skills:

- Thorough technical knowledge on Corporate Law, Accounting Standards and Tax.

- Basic knowledge of Indirect tax, FEMA and Transfer Pricing.

- General business awareness

- Good Excel, presentation and report writing skills

- Client handling
