Associate Director Production - API Manufacturing Firm

Job Description:

The role involves developing strategic plans and aligning business goals for the API Manufacturing facility in order to meet the annual production target, while minimizing operational disruptions.

- Possess strategic thinking skills to effectively plan and execute production strategies.

- Continuously strive for improvements that will positively impact productivity.

- Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders such as EHS, SCM, ENG, and the production head/team at another site.

- Ensure that production activities adhere to safety and quality norms/standards.

- Maintain 100% adherence to the production plan and ensure on-time and in-full dispatch.

- Prepare budgets for the production department (both OPEX and CAPEX), rationalize them, and monitor routine expenditures to stay within the approved budget.

- Establish objectives for the production department that align with the organization's objectives, and set corresponding KPIs and targets for effective monitoring.

- Recruit, train, manage, and motivate the team to meet present and future needs.

- Actively contribute to the implementation of operational excellence in the production department.

- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of production processes and systems.
