Summary:
Works independently most of the time and responsible for processing of payroll of various payrolls across APAC. Analyzing and following procedures, processes, and problems for APAC payroll. Challenge the established process and suggest improvements. Work with HR and Finance of various countries to ensure hassle free payroll across APAC. Strong knowledge on payroll (India and at least 2 countries within APAC) and statutory compliances. Independent and has a penchant to learn new things. Accountability and ownership in a vendor based system.
Major Duties :
1. Strong knowledge on India payroll (end to end including retiral administration) and at least 2 other payroll experiences within APAC in a vendor based model.
2. Strong knowledge on India statutory and at least 2 other countries within APAC.
3. Ensure timely and accurate payroll deliverables, which includes validation, statutory requirements, adhering to the deadlines, methodical in execution.
4. Custodian of process documents and periodical updation
5. Managing Employee queries accurately and on time
6. Audits (internal and statutory)
7. Vendor management.
Knowledge and Skill :
1. Strong statutory knowledge on India payroll and at least 2 countries within APAC. Knowledge on labour laws relating to payroll is desirable.
2. Good team player and work well with cross functional owners.
3. Good oral and written communication skills are required.
4. Good knowledge on MSOffice
5. Knowledge on Accounting
6. Organized and methodical and smart in getting things done.
Experience Required :
A University degree (post-graduation is desirable) and/or 6-8 years relevant proven work experience is required.
