Associate Consultant - O&G Upstream Management - Strategy Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

Asso. Consultant - O&G Upstream management & engineering exp must | Contractual job for 1 yr with global consulting firm

A top global strategy consulting firm needs a professional with upstream oil & gas experience to work with the team for a duration of 1 year (contractual position for 1 year)

Scope of work (Indicative):

- Work in close coordination with client teams as well as vendors across locations to enable client to execute projects undertaken by them; Lead discussions with client across verticals to identify interface challenges and enable bridging gaps

- Provide project management support to the client which includes, but is not limited to:

- Project planning and review - Developing a project plan/schedule, critical path, risks in coordination with client teams and updating them regularly; Track/monitor key activities

- Stakeholder management

- Project monitoring and control - Analysis, optimization and forecasting of future performance. Develop templates for reporting

- Lead execution of developing/providing digital support to client

- Identify capability gaps in client project organization and source experts

Requirement

- 3+ years of upstream oil & gas work experience - could be contractor/ operator/service provider

- MBA + engineering undergrad
