Roles and responsibilities:
- We are recruiting an Associate Consultant for the team. Working as a team member and your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting in the delivery of infrastructure modelling projects for sectors such as power & utilities, transportation & social infrastructure,
- Leading end-to-end infrastructure modelling engagements while working closely with the onshore team
- Understanding the delivery models applied to the infrastructure projects lifecycle across construction, operations, financing & refinancing phases
- Driving and implementing the design and structuring of the outputs (financial models) and their delivery
- Support in the development and evaluation of quantitative finance, M&A (buy and sell-side) and project finance models
- Manage the modelling risks, in accordance with risk management guidelines
- Actively building and managing the relationships and interface with Global Infrastructure teams and other deal advisory professionals
- Mentoring junior team members on engagements
- Supporting onshore teams and contributing to knowledge management to support practice development

Education / professional Prior Experience
Qualifications:
- MBA / PGDBM / CFA/CA/Engineers Relevant experience (1-2 years) gained in either Corporate roles, M&A, Debt Syndication, Fund-raising, Project Finance, regulatory finance, PPP, Infra SPV's or similar deal experience in the relevant sector/ propositions (as applicable)
The ideal candidate would:
- Be skilled in financial modelling and financial analysis
- Have experience in buy/sell-side transactions, project financing, debt syndication, and bond financing in the infrastructure sector
- Financial analysis and interpretation, in particular, DCF methods (NPV and IRR)
- Have prepared infrastructure models from scratch and/or have significant experience in model audits/reviews
- Have knowledge of financing structures, particularly debt and equity finance and other types of project-based financing
- Have prior experience in regulatory finance (preferable, not mandatory)
- Have experience with PPP/PFI transactions or exposure to working on one or more infrastructure sectors/sub-sectors (preferred but not mandatory)
- Have an ability to interpret and present outputs from financial models to support the commercial advice to onshore/client
- Good working knowledge of accounting and financial statements
- Strong problem-solving skills; Knowledge of advanced functions in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & MS Word
- Have mentored, and coached junior team members
