Associate Consultant - Corporate Finance - M&A - Big4

We are seeking applications for Associate Consultant in the DA Corporate Finance M&A team. The responsibilities will include supporting the onshore M&A teams in marketing, pre-mandate and post-mandate activities.

Key deliverables will include:

- Identification of appropriate targets for buy-side clients including preparing brief as well as detailed profiles

- Identification and profiling of buyers for clients seeking disposal of part/complete businesses

- Preparation of parts of or complete buy-side and sell-side pitches including credentials, investment highlights, industry overview, buyer/target identification and profiling, indicative valuation

- Preparation of parts of or complete CIMs including business overview, industry overview and financial analysis

- Newsletters and marketing presentations.

Qualifications

For the role, we are looking for:

- MBAs from a leading Indian/International educational institution

- Relevant experience (1-4 years) gained in investment banking support, financial research, corporate roles.

- We further have one M&A opening each for Real Estate and Financial Services sectors. Above mentioned qualifications, together with experience in research and consulting assignments in Real Estate or Financial Services sectors will be preferred for these openings

Skills

- Strong financial knowledge including good understanding of financial statements, ratios and corporate finance principles and valuation approaches

- Strong research and analytical skills

- Good understanding of the general business and economic environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with database queries, Capital IQ, Merger Market, Thomson One, Factiva, Bloomberg etc

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power point

- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types, working hours, work environments and locations

- Ability to work under tight deadlines
