Associate - Collections & Portfolio Monitoring - BFSI

About the Role:

As a part of the operations team, you will be responsible for managing the collections across the Org's portfolio and help in monitoring the portfolio for key performance indicators. This role is a part of the operations team and reports to the head of operations, out of our office in Bangalore, India. You will get to work closely (in as much as social distancing will allow) with the Operations team on the aspects of collections and monitoring on the Org's marketplace and get first-hand experience in building and maintaining a tech-enabled collections suite for a new age financing model. You'll get one-on-one mentoring and guidance, as well as the opportunity to be a part of a lean, early-stage team. We care more about your learning speed than what you can do right now.

Core Responsibilities:

- Liaise with our portfolio companies to set up collections by working closely with our tech team. This will require you to work with external parties like our fintech/payment gateway/banking partners.

- Monitor collections once set up at a high frequency and ensure reconciliations happen on the track.

- Create and maintain live collection dashboards for the senior management.

- Create weekly reports for our lending partners.

- Monitor the portfolio and escalate as necessary if collections performance is flagging based on identified indicators.

- Ensure TAT on collections while improving the collections experience for all stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

- 2-5 yrs of experience in operations or collections in the NBFC/fin-tech industry (mandatory).

- Experience in taking ownership and handling collections end to end (mandatory).

- Excellent verbal and written English communication (mandatory)

- Strong understanding of MS Excel (mandatory)

- Accounting/Finance degree (bonus)

- Experience in creating reports and analytics dashboards (bonus)
