Business Development Associate - Procurement, Sales & Marketing

We are looking for a Business Development Associate for our International Trading Firm, to be based out of Thane, Mumbai.

Requirements :

- Assist in the development of sales and marketing strategy for existing products

- Source and develop new products and start and build long term relations with factories and suppliers

- Handle full marketing and sales assistance/collaterals required and support the sales director

- Implement, onboard and manage CRM and other sales reporting tools

- Visiting factories and suppliers all across India and find competitive products

- Visiting industry exhibitions/ symposiums/seminars to be up to date with the latest market trends/ products and info

- Building a complete online presence for the firm including online trade platforms/ digital and social media marketing strategy

- Analyse primary and secondary data resources to gather market info on suppliers, competitors and customers and find marketing opportunities based on the intelligence

- Be a self starter, initiate and take full responsibility for developing new business for the company

Qualifications :

- Min 5-8 years in sales/marketing/procurement preferably in a commodity trading company/export business/international business

- Bachelors/Masters in Business Administration/ International Business/ Sales & marketing

- Experience in sourcing & developing products/factories/suppliers from scratch and building a long term business with them

- CRM & ERP experience a must

- Well versed with International business, export business from India with full understanding of the process and channel partners involved

- Strong Proficiency in Written & Spoken English

- Experience with Data Analytics/Excel Macros

- Experience of handling a team
