Associate - Business Analyst - Trade Finance Domain

Responsibilities include :

- Engage with business to understand MRD and the high level business requirements validate requirements.

- Reviews business requirements in partnership and collaboration with the business obtaining sign-off.

- Liaises with program / project managers and other stakeholders as appropriate as the business/functional counterpart for solution identification

- Validates feasibility studies and estimates

- Validates business case(s) outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions

- Drives the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and manages identified impacts and risks

- Responsible for Quality Assurance of project deliverables along with the development and testing teams.

- Prioritizes change requests and is an escalation point in terms of identifying these changes.

- Engage with the development team to confirm the actual implementations are aligned with the high level solution & design provided

- Validate all the NFR expected as part of business requirement is met in the actual implementation

Essential Business Knowledge :

- Relevant experience in Business Analysis and Financial Services

- Broad knowledge of Risk Management, Limit Management and Credit Exposure monitoring and reporting, Loans processing applications and ideally of Trade Finance processing (Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Supply Chain Finance)

Education/ Experience Required :

- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business, Economics or Computer Science (or equivalent Business Analysis certification and/or relevant work experience).

- Around 5 years of experience in SDLC primarily around business and functional analysis in Trade finance domain. Knowledge on overall transaction banking is an advantage.

- Management experience and ability to lead and coach

- Maturity and persuasiveness to engage in business dialogue and support stakeholders

- Knowledge of Quality Management tools and techniques

- Advanced analytical and problem solving experience

- Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organization and in fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication skills and Fluent in English (written/verbal)
