Operational Responsibilities
- Manage Process Specialist team (Inventory Reconciliations - ESC) and act as a SME
- Ensure SLA's for the team are met or exceeded always
- Ensure accurate reporting and timely issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with all applicable General Mills accounting policy and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Work independently / directly with U.S. supply chain Finance partners to ensure processes are is well understood and executed
- Ensure strong, clear process documentation and controls are in place (JTA- s, SOP, OPLs)
- Utilize custom and ad hoc reporting functionality to provide accessible and meaningful reports to business partners (DMS, Operating metrics, Monthly SLA reporting)
- Resolve related issues, with minimal involvement from General Mills U.S. team
- Leverage Continuous improvement methodologies & deliver 5% productivity members
50% of Time
People Responsibilities (E.g.: Hiring, coaching, performance management, providing feedback etc.)
- Actively participate in the development of emerging leaders.
- Manage ESC Inventory Reconciliations team member's professional personal and social development through Individual Development Plan, Performance Appraisal, Corporate Social Responsibility, Trainings, Coaching and Mentoring.
- Provide feedback to direct reports at set frequency
- Ensure/Manage Hiring Process for New Personnel (Right talent at first place itself) and roll out retention strategies to retain a key talent.
5% of Time
Continuous Improvement
- Help develop clear process documentation and strive for continuous improvement of processes and efficiency.
- Leverage CI tools and automation to initiate/lead projects to increase efficiency.
5% of Time
Others
- Take lead on planning and execution of Transition projects.
- For few months needs to handle few Inventory counts to gain in-depth process knowledge.
