Associate - Analytics - FMCG/Retail/IT/Online

Job Location- San Jose CA, USA ( H1B Compulsory )

Responsibilities:

- Work with clients to understand their business challenges and formulate business problems.

- Develop clear, concise, actionable models and recommendations from mountains of data.

- Work with teams based out of India in solving these business problems by translating them into an analytics problem solving framework.

- Enhance the offshore team by providing business context.

- Present results to senior management through insightful recommendations.

- Ensures solutions are scalable, repeatable, efficient and effective.

- Building relationship with clients by understanding client business and enabling analytics to drive business.

- Be involved in the development of the company through pre-sales/operational support.

Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of database experience with advanced SQL skills; experience researching and manipulating complex and large data sets (both distributed and non-distributed)

- Possesses strong analytical/logical thinking and communication skills

- Expertise in SQL, Tableau, Business Analytics with hands on experience in related field

- Experience working with complex analytical tools, such as SAS or R

- Experience in statistical techniques such as Regression, Clustering & Time Series Forecasting, etc.

- Background of site analytics, site merchandising and e-commerce is an advantage

- Bachelors in Engineering or Masters in Statistics/Economics
