Location - Mumbai

Job Description

Associate/ Analyst is the Data Science Expert from Strategy Office who will be working on the projects with the Group companies through Data Science Division. Under the Guidance of Project Leader (TM-Data Sciences)

Responsibilities

- Associate/Analyst: Will be the Data Science expert from Data Science Division at Strategy office, who would be working with the Group Companies (clients) to solve their business-data-challenges

- He will be maximally in touch with the clients and interact with multiple members from client side by meeting them, interviewing them, taking data and processing it.

- He will be creating the insights from data extracted from business units and converting them into a "consummable format" or "self servicing predictive portals" for clients.

- He would need to be hands on with use of Data Science tools like, R, Python, Azure ML, Amazon ML, Google ML etc. Ability to self-process the data and come out with models/ insghts is a must.

- Needs to apply sophisticated AI tools like Randomforests, Support Vector Machines, Deep neural networks, Advanced Regression etc techniques to data problems.

- Conducting Data Science meetups, data science events and workshops within the group

- Representing the Group at external data science meetups. weekend data camps etc and maintaining relationships with startups in data science space.

- Thought leadership in data science across social media

Educational Qualification :

Masters Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/ EE/Math) or Management, Expertise in Data Scicence, ML, Math

Functional Skill :

- Knowledge of R, Python, Azrure ML, Amazon ML, Google ML, Spark, Tableau

- Knowledge of Adavnced Data Science and Machine Learning Algorithms

- Ability to synthesize large chunks of information and data from multiple people and files into summary documents in digestible format

- Excellent presentation skills for communicating reports.

Consulting abilities : MECE approach, problem solving, lateral thinking

- Demonstrated experience of having solved commercial data problems in prior career.

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to navigate through a matrix of complex org structures to meet relevant people and extract data from the Org structure and IT infrastructure

- Integrity of dealing with sensitive data information

- Personality, composure and body language similar to that of a consulting Associate/Analyst

- Self initiative

- Ability to deal with complex mathematical problems in dogged and untiring manner.
