JOB DESCRIPTION-

Review of international assignments including assignments involving multiple countries responsibilities and review of related documentation from tax and regulatory perspective.

- Evaluation of treaties to examine taxability and availability of treaty relief.

- Assistance in setting up tax withholding processes including running of tax withholding calculations and filing of related quarterly withholding tax returns and maintaining shadow payroll.

- Assistance with formulating and implementing tax equalization policies including administration, and monitoring the tax equalization processes .

- Arrival / departure tax consultations with assignees.

- Tax registration and assistance with tax clear out formalities.

- Preparation and filing of assignees- tax returns.

- Review of reward and benefit packages from a tax perspective.

- Employees stock plans - formulating and advising on tax impact, tax compliance etc.

- Representation services - where tax returns are selected for audit etc.

- Assistance in review of the existing withholding tax compliance and issue sensitivity report.

- Advisory on social security matters including assistance in obtaining the certificate of coverage.

- Assistance on the Indian Immigration matters
