Assitant Finance Manager/ Finance Manager

We are looking for an energetic, self-driven and independent Finance professional to join our team with proven experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the overall accounting function of the organization, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

2. Leading team members, providing guidance and support to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

3. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls while ensuring compliance with GST andTax Deducted at Source (TDS) requirements.

4. Stay updated with changes in India's Accounting Standards (AS), Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Income Tax regulations, ensure adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines.

5. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide management with accurate and timely financial information.

6. Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure compliance and timely completion.

7. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources and manage financial risks.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to drive business performance and achieve strategic objectives.

9. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making, considering the impact of Indian IT and GST laws.

10. Responsible for generating various Management Information System (MIS) reports, including analysis, for presentation to the management.

11. Stay updated with emerging accounting trends and technologies to drive process improvements and enhance efficiency.

Who we're looking for:

1. MBA degree in Finance, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on Indian IT and GST laws

3. Experience in leading team members.

4. Previous experience working in a Zoho Books/Tally environment is desirable.

5. In-depth knowledge of Indian IT and GST laws and their application to accounting processes and financial reporting

6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

8. Strategic mindset and ability to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

9. High level of integrity and ethical conduct in handling financial information.
