AVP / VP (Project Director)
Area of responsibilities:
- Understand customer's expectations & requirement and percolate to subordinates.
- Conceptual Planning of the project, estimation of Site Infrastructure, resource mobilization & monitoring its effective usage
- Thorough in project coordination with multiple location based suppliers, service providers & internal resources for smooth project execution
- Understanding of basic construction engineering principles/practices/Specifications of foundations & metal structure assemblies
- Familiar with Quality aspects like Factory Acceptance tests & QA principles for bought-out items & towers/Conductors, Final acceptance criteria used by infrastructure clients
- Thorough understanding of Specifications used for transmission line parts/accessories
- Preparation of budget, cash-flows and monitoring the expenses
- Timely submission of monthly bills, labour bills, purchase bills. Also, responsible for preparation and certification of Final Bills and reconciliation of material.
- Preparation & follow up of critical timelines using MS projects or any other package for total project management
- Interaction with clients technical staff on construction practices, specs & local construction standards
- Familiar with project management & monitoring of project tasks/stage-wise construction
- Preparation of MIS for client/internal monitoring, coordination of progress update
- Thorough with material planning & logistics for internal parts/assemblies as well bought-outs for every stage throughout project execution period
- Coordination/follow-up on technical issues for customs clearance
- Interaction with Commercial Manager, Stores in-charge & Construction manager for minimum inventory & smooth flow of work
- Responsible to minimize wastage of Construction Material.
- Contract Implementation, Claim Management and Contract closure
- Supervising international commercial issues
- Motivating and managing site personnel.
- Ensure adherence to standards established by the company & Code of Conduct (COC).
