We are hiring PMO professionals for our Financial Services Organisation client's based at Bangalore. Diversity candidates preferred.

2. Vice President - PMO (15 to 18 years)

Role Description:

The Project Management Office (PMO) is an essential part of delivering successful change projects and programmes and activities include:

- Creating and maintaining key artefacts such as RAID logs, plans, charters and governance terms of reference

- Establishing and applying standard methods and templates to improve efficiency

- Organising and minuting governance meetings such as steering committees and design authorities

- Managing key information processes such as status reporting and communications to stakeholders

- Acting as a hub to facilitate the flow of information through the project or programme team

This role is required to establish a new PMO competency and supporting team, processes and standards that is capable of supporting project managers and Programme Managers within a global change programme.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree

2. Minimum 10-18 years of relevant experience in PMO in financial services industry

3. Proven track record in managing large scale multi-functional Projects

1. Project Management certified is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as an information hub across all projects for the programmes

- Continuity of standards (best practices set by the programme)

- Facilitate gateway reviews (including ideation and closure)

- Co-develop the design of the programme/governance structure to facilitate the delivery of programme

- Define, maintain and ensure adherence to the PM handbook (objectives, scope, governance, PM processes)

- Co-develop and maintain the programme plan

- Define, maintain and enable the stakeholder management plan

- Define and manage programme documentation - ensure adherence, familiarisation. Administer an organization's standard program and project management processes

- Complete all reporting required at programme level - status reporting

- Track and monitor hand-offs with the - shared- projects: benefits to support business case, resource oversight and financial

- Decks for governance meetings (as per handbook drumbeat)

- External reporting / executive reporting - support

- Communication management outside status reporting

- Documentation management / standards (including training on usage and expectation)

- RAID control to support programme

- Handles all aspects of project planning, requirements gathering, scheduling and work planning, communications, issue resolution, cost tracking, financial reporting and change management

- Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands-on training to staff

- Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.
