Role - AVP / VP for HR and talent acquisition

Company is backed by Helix investments, a US-based private equity fund.

CTC Bandwidth - Upto 35Lac

Work Experience - 15 to 18 years

Role Description - 

- We are looking for a leader for our HR and talent acquisition team. We are currently a 600 member strong organization across Mumbai, Kolkata and Gurgaon, and expect to be more than 1000 people strong within the next two years. Our current HR team has 10 members, including recruiters and generalist HR professionals.

- We are looking for someone who can independently manage the entire HR and talent acquisition function. This role is a critical role for the organization and the candidate will be working directly with the COO and the CEO to design and implement the HR and talent acquisition strategy and implement in in a hands-on manner.

The role will include ownership for the following functions (indicative) -

1. Talent acquisition -

a. The candidate will engage with business heads to plan and execute resource ramp up. She / He will also have the ability to advise the organization on the right sources, assessments, methods to find high quality talent, within our budgets and within stiff timelines.

b. Hiring requirements will include -

i. Entry level hiring across locations in India through campus recruitments and otherwise

ii. Lateral hiring for middle management roles

iii. Strategic senior management hiring

iv. Sales hiring in India, US and Europe

c. Exposure to using social media and other innovative techniques for sourcing profile, apart from traditional methods such as job portals would be desirable.

d. Would have an existing network of recruitment consultants, campuses, recruitment forums, linkedin groups etc.

e. Prior experience in defining and tracking metrics and processes for talent acquisition would be needed.

2. Performance Management - Help identify the future leaders for Netscribes, through a structured and transparent performance management system. Design and implement rewards, career paths and recognition across the organization.

3. HR operations

a. Payroll processing

b. Onboarding and exits

c. Rewards and recognition

d. Grievances etc.

4. Employee engagement - We are a young organization with an average employee age of under 28. The candidate would be able to design and implement strategies to engage with the employee base across locations and help make Netscribes a preferred place to work.

5. Training - Work with business heads to design and implement a relevant training calendar using internal, external and online resources to ensure that our delivery teams receive relevant, timely training.

6. Manage the HR budget and be an active contributor to planning and budgeting for the organization.

7. Work with the IT team to automate processes and bring in efficiency and responsiveness within the HR function.

8. Design policies and processes that enable a transparent, fair and collaborative culture throughout the organization.

This is a leadership role with high visibility and high impact across the organization. We are looking for someone who has the maturity, vision and skills to help us grow as an organization. We are ideally looking for people from the Research / KPO / BPO or IT services industries, but are open to other sectors as well.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, willingness to take risks and an ability to get things done independently.
