Assistant Vice President - UX Design - BFS

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand the current ecosystem (platforms, applications, core systems and processes) and the various associated user journeys and develop a seamless Omni Channel UX Strategy across customer journeys and digital footprints

- Lead and conducted consumer research to understand drives and blocks, pain points, expectations and brand perception; recommend tactical and strategic findings for the Omni Channel Strategy

- Brief Agencies and work with them to develop wireframes, designs, site maps, working prototypes, HTMLs and the final developed asset. Create UX deliverable which are responsive in nature and have multi-device capability (desktop, mobile and tablet devices)

- Drive Agencies to efficiently develop a large volume of user-friendly, customer-centric designs while still delivering a high quality experience for the end-user

- Conduct customer research, understand/define needs, outline actionable steps, implement design, and test for usability throughout the process

- Generation of user personas and user scenarios using primary/ secondary research

- Lead brainstorming sessions and prepare all business/functional/user requirements for development. Work with cross functional teams across Business, Technology, Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, Agency & External Partners for improving/optimizing the usability of such assets to achieve business goals

- Prepare documentation that incorporates all technical, editorial, and usability specifications of the project. Documents use cases, user flows, experience maps and prototypes to effectively communicate/implement/test concepts

- Develop feedback plans and conducts user testing, including in-person, remote, moderated, and un-moderated formats; present detailed mock ups of interface to business/ technical users for feedback in an agile manner

- Understand technical benefits/ challenges for various UX decision point

Required Skill Set :

- Knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Engineering, Information Architecture, Digital Design preferred.

- Expert in web and software usability principles and is up-to-date on current trends and advances in interface and functional design

- Experience in creating wireframes, designs, prototypes, site maps and design documentation.

- Strong sense of modern, clean design and aesthetics that can be applied to create perfect layouts

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers and staff.

- Impeccable organization and time/project management skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks. Must be able to maintain own work flow, produce results, and meet deadlines with limited supervision

- Ability to conduct customer research, collect external/internal feedback, and synthesize results.

- Must be able to understand a target audience's needs and other motivating factors, and translate them into concepts for compelling interactions and experiences

Education Qualification & Experience :

- Certified Experience Analyst, CXATM (2013) and a Certified Usability Analyst, CUATM (2008)

- Graduate/Post-Graduate from a Design School/ Fine Arts College

- 6-7 Yrs of experience in Interaction Design and Information Architecture

- Proficiency on tools like MS Visio, Omnigraffle, X-mind, Adobe Creative Suite, etc

- Knowledge of User Interface Design, User Centered Design and Usability

- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML

- Knowledge of javascript, DOM, Ajax techniques, Web 2.0 technologies desired

- Competencies including UX Research, Ethnography, Heuristic Evaluations, Formative and Summative User Testing
