Job Description :

Job Title : AVP - Underwriting (Cross Sell)

Organizational Structure :

Function : RISK

Department : Underwriting

Team : Cross Sell

Organizational Level : CEO-2

Reports to position : CRO

Objective (Purpose of the Job) :

- To be responsible for proposal and implementation of changes in UW process for Cross Sell portfolio, reporting and monitoring of UW Cross Sell process, support of Cross Sell business.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Minimize default rates together with keeping the approval and eligibility rate on required level for X-sell portfolio.

2. UWI cross-sell process management

3. Proposal of changes in end-to-end cross-sell process including: AF, BO, CRM and Collection.

4. Reporting of all UW steps, manage all UW analysts for X-sell portfolio

5. Communication with other departments (mainly Sales and Finance) to provide inputs for budgeting, pricing, regulators

Within The Company : AF, Collections, BD, BO & CRM Team

Outside of The Company : BD partners related to Cross Sell portfolio

Dimensions :

Volume of Cross Sell business - via AR & optimization of application funnel

Quality of Cross Sell business - via UW process - scoring, HC, RGS

Underwriting costs - via optimized calling of BD sources

Required Know-how and Skills :

1. Credit risk modelling, UW process optimization

2. Managerial understanding of SQL, Office

KPI's (FAST) :

Key performance indicators - CTQ (critical to quality) - Timelines :

1. LTS (Loss to sales) - As per Budget - Yearly

2. Eligibility Rate - As per Budget - Yearly

3. Approval Rate - As per Budget - Yearly

Required Know-how and Skills :

Desired Experience & Expertise :

Need to have areas :

- Experience with UW strategies and processes

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- At least 5 years of proven experience in data analysis with a strong knowledge on analytical tools such as SQL, SAS etc.

- Mathematical / Statistical background and strong sense of numbers

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SQL / Oracle

- Excellent Communication and presentation skills
