Position Title: Assistant Vice President
Grade/Level: C12
Business Group: Operations
Function/Group: Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS)
Location: Mumbai
Business/Department Objectives:
- Team is responsible for providing Trade processing support for EMEA- Algeria based clients.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Processing Standard:
- Ensure process delivery as per Service Level Agreement at all times. Ensure service quality is maintained
- Interact with client on a daily basis to understand their requirement
- Ensure team meets required productivity targets
- Address client escalations/issues
- Build excellent rapport with client
- Conduct regularly meeting/discussion with client
Risk and Control:
- Ensure team adheres to internal policies to ensure compliance with legal parameters as well as company policies and procedures
- Assist management for audit preparation and necessary actions for clean audit results
Migration and Project Management:
- Support/participate/lead in new/ongoing projects/migrations and ensure smooth cut over with minimized risks - internal and external
- Develop and maintain training database, training materials, and trackers for the migration
- Schedule and conduct training for new staffs. Ensure training and parallel run are well planned and executed without impact on delivery
Revenue and Cost Management:
- Give suggestions or participate in process improvements and cost improvement initiatives
Team Management:
- Ensure the team provides the best productivity to meet SLA targets
- Motivate the team towards the business objective
- Maintain team's performance metrics to track defects, productivity
- Ensure back-ups are created within and across the team through cross functional projects
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree
- Post graduate (preferably Finance)
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree - 10+ years of experience in Trade Operations/Services
- Post graduate (preferably Finance) - 5+ years of experience (Trade Operations/Services)
Certifications:
- CDCS certification
Core Skills:
- Ability to execute and exceed both internal and customer expectations in a team-oriented Operations environment
- Ability to work as a team with offsite partners
- Consistent ability to identify process improvement and implement quickly and accurately
- Strong attention to detail is required to ensure the data privacy of our client information
- Strong team management skills
- Strong client management/relationship management skills
- Experience of leading large teams with complex processes
Competencies:
- Good knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URR, Trade Services Products, and Trade Finance Products.
- Information must be expressed coherently and accurately to key people in a timely manner
- Confidence, self-motivation and plenty of initiative
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work
- Ability to build working relationships with stakeholders
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in team environment
- Enthusiasm and strong desire to work in operations
