Assistant Vice President/Technical Lead - Java - Financial Services

 It is a AVP level- Java Technical Lead role (Individual Contributor) with a financial services organization. 8-15 years of hands-on experience in Java and Oracle is a must have.

Client Details :

Our client is a leading physical commodity trading organization. They have a shared services centre in Mumbai, and are spread across 60+ countries in the world

Description :

- Architect and design solutions and guide the vendor teams to implement the solution as per the architecture and design

- Be hands-on in development and mentor the vendor team

- Identify gaps in technical design, functional requirements and work towards closing those gaps to ensure high quality software is delivered

Profile :

- BE/B.Tech/MS in Computer Science from a Tier 1 engineering institute

- Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on coding experience with following technologies - Java, J2EE, Oracle, working with any of the messaging technology (MQ, TIBCO etc) is a must have

- Investment bank background is a must have

- Understanding of Commodities, Logistics, Financing, Accounting or Derivatives is a BIG plus

- Excellent communication skills

- Vendor management experience is also a must
