AVP Sales and Operations | Ratan Tata backed B2B e-commerce startup

- Founded by a former Google employee with experience in building global products and running sales across Asia, the company is an eCommerce company specializing in B2B procurement of industrial products. The business model of the company got further validation when Mr. Ratan Tata picked up a stake in it. It has also raised a pre-Series A funding from Accel Partners and Jungle Ventures.

- The funds are being used to enhance the technology platform, build a deep supplier base as well as increase marketing spends across Asia.

- As an AVP Sales and Operations you would be responsible for leading a vertical for the company, ensuring profitable and sustainable growth and meeting key performance metrics.

The role includes :

- Ownership of Target and Generate sales volume.

- Lead / Pipeline Generation

- Responsible for Revenue Tracking & Payment collection

- Sales Process Management from lead generation till order fulfillment

- Vendor management and development to make the category selection deeper and wider

- Manage the logistics and supply chain from pick up till dispatch

- Manage the sales invoicing and purchase invoicing and collections

Candidate Profile :

- Experience of working in a fast moving, complex, dynamic environment preferably in eCommerce / manufacturing Sector.

- Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends and should be apt in identifying Customers challenges and needs.

- Ability to inspire, influence and motivate customer as well as internal teams.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage at all level within the business, with customers and partners in a variety of geographies.

- Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications.

- Ability to compile effective business presentations

Education : B.Tech with MBA from Tier 1 B-school preferred
