Summary of Role / Profile :

Focus of the Function :

Owning end to end client service delivery from ensuring that the right solution is proposed for new transitions, to actively participating in the Solution process, to aiding and enabling robust transitions, to delivering ongoing client satisfaction through consistent high class service delivery, thereby ensuring high NPS

Why does this job exist :

- To manage existing relationships with a client. Span will be 30 - 50 FTE. This is a people leader and SME role

How does the role add value :

This is the core of the organization. Success of this role means delighted customers and impact generated to customers and organization.

What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant for this role :

- Should have managed large F&A operations (Team of at least 50+) in the areas of General Accounting (spanning Balance sheet reconciliations, Month end / quarter end close and excellent domain expertise in F&A

- Proven track record of handling clients independently and having grown the relationship(s)

- Proven financial acumen (ability to understand complex contracts, financial budgets and ability to link initiatives to financial outcomes and drive right operational initiatives to accomplish the desired financial outcomes)

- CA with 7-8 years of post qualification experience, preferable to have an internal candidate who has helped stabilize the shop post transition

- Should have worked on reconciliation (including sales tax), closing strong domain knowledge

- Should have led large teams needs to drive discipline and coordination within teams

- Should be able to track and drive deliverables .important to be metric oriented as lot of customer focus on it

- Very strong in communication, should be able to articulate challenges, propose solutions and push back where required

- Should have problem solving/trouble shooting bent of mind- ..focus on the solutions- .be able to ask for help where required

- Proven orientation to continuous process improvements and championing improvement projects. Six sigma certification desirable.

- Experience in front ending, transitioning and stabilizing new deals/ relationships will be a strong plus

- The candidate needs to be very comfortable with latest technological innovations in the area of business process management

Specific Competencies (Essential) :

- Ability to prioritize and manage effectively across many competing and concurrent tasks

- Ability to manage multiple virtual and geographically spread teams/ clients and understand / appreciate the cultural nuances

- Strong technology orientation. Should take the leadership role in implementing new technologies into operations

- Exceptional verbal and written communication and Presentation skills. Should be able to prepare and present independently & confidently to senior leadership within organization and Client organization

- Ability to manage through indirect authority and matrixed organization structures

- Strong negotiation, facilitation and influencing and consensus building skills

Specific competences (Desirable) :

Key Roles and Responsibilities : Knowledge, Experience, Education External & internal contacts :

- This is an leadership position in finance and accounting space. The team size will be between 50 to 100 FTE

- Manage the delivery of outsourced services to ensure customer satisfaction and increased revenue through client up-sell

- Collaborate and work globally with other organization business leaders and functional leaders to create & commercialize existing and new product offerings

- Take the lead in introducing breakthrough technology solutions into operations

- Manage the operations to achieve/exceed P&L expectations

- Leverage lean six sigma framework to drive continuous performance improvement

- Implement appropriate mechanisms to identify, understand and escalate performance gaps and/or performance breakthroughs. Develop and implement improvement plans to close performance gaps.

- Collaborate in the new deal process including solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition and stabilization

- Participate in the external marketing of the company through development of marketing collateral and participation in industry meetings and conferences

- CA is essential. MBA with Hospitality experience at Assistant controller level can be also looked at

- Should have an overall experience of at least 15 years, preferably at least 5 years in the business process industry / Hospitality

- We are looking for a strong pedigree in education and professional experience

- Should have excellent understanding and experience in end to end accounting process

- Should have managed large sized F&A operations (Team of at least 50+)
