Job Title: Assistant Vice President -portfolio Monitoring And Forecasting - 7 Positions

Grade : Asst. Vice President

Job Purpose :

- Be responsible for overall efficiency of the Portfolio Monitoring and Forecasting Processes in CB Risk.

- Hold overall responsibility for adherence to Group and country credit policies and process standards

- Lead and manage all strategic projects for improved process efficiency and ensure successful implementation.

- Ensure compliance with the Bank's risk policy and procedures.

- Be responsible for defining and examining, and where appropriate, re-engineering key business processes, procedures and systems for Credit

- Be responsible for preparation and control of expense deck, capacity plans, LI reports, budgets, and other Credit MIS reports with inputs from other in-country risk teams

- Handles additional functions assigned/delegated by CCH in his/her absence.

Key Responsibilities :

Reporting & MIS :

- Ensure timely and accurate MIS delivery to various departments and Group office.

- Ensure that all programs, campaigns and policy changes are tracked and monitored accordingly. Report breaches as necessary.

- Manage the preparation of all the Credit MIS reports, review, validate and obtain approvals prior to submission to Group Credit

- Supervise the preparation, review and submission of expense and forecasting decks, capacity plans and budgets with inputs from risk segments.

- Analyze the information gathered for effective portfolio management to mitigate risk and maximize returns.

- Perform ad-hoc analyses/studies to support management decisions on credit strategies and policies.

- Continuous improvement of the MIS processes to ensure more efficient report generation.

AML/Compliance :

- Ensure full compliance of all policies and processes with global Policy Manual, Product Program, local regulatory and other audit/compliance standards including adherence to anti-money laundering guidelines and addressing required KYC requirements.

BCP :

- Contribute to the effectiveness of the department's BCP, actively participates in the BCP testing, provides timely feedback on BCP matters, makes self available during contingency situations; fully conversant and knowledgeable of the most updated BCP and able to keep a copy of the departmental call tree readily accessible at place of residence.

Health and Safety :

- Ensure compliance with all H&S policies, guidelines and local laws and regulations. Zero (0) incident or accident, either directly or indirectly caused.

- The mitigation of risk by providing accurate and timely information necessary to support management decisions.

- Protection of the Bank's reputation. Bank's ability to meet legal and regulatory obligations. Minimizing risk of Bank being used by money launderers.

Judgment/ Complexity :

- Ability to formulate and comply with credit criteria.

- Ability to be highly flexible, adaptable, open-minded, responsive to the behavior of the market.

- Comprehensive knowledge on basic banking practices, policies and relevant regulatory concerns.

Risk Management :

- Ensure compliance with ALL internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Experience And Knowledge Required :

- College graduate / Post Graduate of any statistical/ business course.

- Prior experience of working with SAS software is desired / required

- Experience in working in Retail / Credit Risk vertical with familiarity in Forecasting and budgeting

- Has the ability to process, analyze and interpret statistical data and recommend policies based on the result of the information.

- Can communicate effectively

- Good Stakeholder management by establishing good working relationships with people at all levels and to work well in a team environment.

- Experience in budgeting, Forecasting, Reconciliation and added advantage to have knowledge about Loan Impairment, Delinquency, and Vintage etc.

- Able to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements to produce prompt, reliable information to management for decision-making purposes.

- Possesses good technical computer skills.-

Freedom Of Decision Making :

- Prioritization of day-to-day responsibilities.

- Recommend changes in credit-related issues/ problems in MIS reporting.

- Streamline and enhance credit reporting.

Training :

- E-Learning Modules, particularly the AML E-Learning Course, Credit Practices, Basel 2 and Credit Bureau, as applicable

- Induction Program

- AML Refresher Course
