Assistant Vice President - Litigation AVP - FRM Litigation is a job for managing the Fraud Risk Litigations in the company. - The incumbent is required to have skill set of analysing the market Fraud trend and also timely filing and initiating action for police complaints, the job also involves, trapping the fraudsters and also for recovery from fraud loss reported cases. the incumbent should have good job experience in the related field. - Must have LL.B. qualified to be an Advocate, post qualification experience of 8-12 years in the Banking/Credit card/Financial industry. must have experience of handling fraud investigations. - Drafting & Filing of Police Complainant/s subsequent follow-up in - In all cases as per the regulatory / statutory requirement. - In Syndicate application Fraud cases. - In critical vishing fraud escalations (attempted / actual) with cyber police unit - Against rogue merchants in reported skimming cases. - Against fraudsters in mobile number changes (account takeover) by some third parties Replying to police communications/legal notices inhouse within defined TAT from police authorities Pan India, pursuing with police for conversion of the police complaint into an FIR in some critical -high value fraud loss (sensitive to business) cases (as recommended by FRM) - Filing court complaint under Sec.156 (3) of the CrPC for conversion of the same into an FIR through Court Order in by cases. Coordinating with Police for all employee against criminal complaints / cases filed By Customers. - Coordinate with the Police Investigating officer & support by providing inputs for a detailed investigation & subsequent search, seizer, arrest of the fraudsters (By case). - Handle / monitor all discussions of recovery / out of court settlement with the representatives of the named accused (By cases) Provide Case details &amp; other investigation inputs for all police correspondence / notices (Filed by company or Customer on a Fraud issue) - Ensure adequate infrastructure and framework including the right resourcing, empanelment of the LEA consultants / Advocates across location to expedite the By Cases. Work to maximize the recovery of fraud loss through LEA Engagement and Complaint Filing - Be the key advisor / central support in all LEA liaison matters (Police HQ &amp; Bank Fraud Section / EOW / Cyber Cell etc) for resolution of issues raised during day to day activities &amp; tracking the developments of the complaints lodged by the Company in all high value / employee involved fraud cases. - Designing &amp; assisting in implementation of Legal Strategies in sync with Fraud / Collection portfolios. - Analysing / Reviewing all legal (By Case) portfolio health on regular basis, highlight the good and bad segments and share findings Regular review of industry benchmarking on Fraud loss minimization processes. - Handling all Correspondence / Notices related to Law Enforcement Authorities. - Monitoring Criminal litigations filed through Legal Team of empanelled Advocates. Driving the Arrest of Fraudsters &amp; Recovery of Fraud Loss through able filing of police complaint in all high value / sensitive racket fraud cases and subsequent follow up / court complaint / ROP / Negotiation through empanelled Advocates. - Provide support to different state police in an interstate ramification / syndicate case. - Maintaining relationship with law enforcement authority through conducting police training / workshop on Credit Card &amp; Online Frauds. - Maintain a repository of the filed complaints / cases. - Coordination and taking educative sessions with the Regulators/LEAs for educating general public about Cyber Crimes. Qualification : - Must have a LL.B. and also qualified to be an Advocate. - Have 8-12 years of post-experience in handling fraud investigations/police complaints, and an Independent professional having zeal for the commitment.
