Assistant Vice President - Legal - Commercial Real Estate - LLB/LLM

We currently are looking for a senior Legal Professional for a Large Commercial Real Estate Player in Bangalore

The Client : One of the leading names in commercial Projects across different metro cities in India.

Candidate Profile :

Education : LLB/ PG in Law

Experience : 12-20 years post qualification

- Experience in Banking / Financial Institutions / reputed law firm with good exposure in investment banking, financial services, securities law, capital markets, corporate advisory and regulatory work

- Thorough knowledge in Company Law, Negotiable Instruments Act, Securitization Act, IBC, Contract Act, Limitation Act.

- Knowledge of Registration Act and Stamp Acts of different state, with superior drafting skills.

Job Description

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiation, due diligence of mortgage documents and commercial contracts.

- Loan Documentation, co-ordination with banks/ financial institutions, NBFCs etc. relating to credit facilities of different nature as Commercially Agreed by the Corporate Finance Department.

- Drafting of written opinions on the applicability, rules, regulations, procedures under various general and legal statutes, including property laws, contract law

- Property documentation, review and preparation of Risk/Liability Matrix
