About TresVista: - TresVista is a leading provider of fundamental and data analytics to financial institutions and corporates - Founded in late 2006 by former Wall Street investment bankers and private equity professionals - Strength of over 600 people and growing its client and revenue base at 50%+ - Strong global client base - primarily private equity firms, investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, corporates, and family offices Purpose of the Role: The AVP will be responsible for creating and maintaining a robust decision support system to the management by providing critical information and analysis. Other responsibility includes championing the organization strategy and ensuring all organizational activities are undertaken within the defined strategy framework. The position will be reporting to the VP, ISR and will be managing 3 Associates. The total team consists of ~8 in a two-tier structure Responsibilities Assumed: a) Updating and maintaining the company model - Assisting Dept. HODs in building &amp; auditing department budgets &amp; tracking variance - Analyzing costs, revenues, trends, financial commitments and obligations and developing forward-looking predictive models to provide insights - Analyzing and monitoring key performance indicators such as profitability levels, collections, etc. - Reporting the operational, process and stakeholder's effectiveness to the management every month b) Department level reporting - Aligning departmental goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational strategy - Corroborating, monitoring, and reporting on strategic initiatives, projects across the firm by performing appropriate clinical, administrative and operational research and building models - Liaising with ISR team for margins analysis to report to the management - Working with existing departments to streamline processes and systems to improve operational efficiency c) Other - Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes - Managing special projects as and when initiated by the management - Team building, engagement, and training Prerequisites: - Uses relevant information in the analysis of issues and applies reason to reach the conclusion from which practical recommendations are made - Cooperates and consults in order to get a task done. Establishes and maintains relationships as appropriate and contributes to the achievement of objectives - Has a demonstrable and in-depth understanding of management reporting, finance, and strategy implementation - Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal) - Effectively organizes all aspects of work to achieve high quality and timely output.
