Assistant Vice President - Insurance Analytics - KPO

To head operations of Insurance Analytics for a leading KPO which has a 100 member team of actuarial professionals and advanced analytics professionals in General Insurance Domain.

Required Business Skills :

- Strong ability to conceptualize and think independently

- Analytical management experience delivering multiple high quality, high-visibility analyses under tight timelines. This includes strong project management skills

- Should possess strong problem solving skills and thought leadership

- Extraordinary attention to details and processes

- Good communication and persuasion skills with an ability to translate technical analysis into business insights and recommendations, work with diverse teams and individuals

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (advanced capability in MS Excel)

- Knowledge of any applications such as SAS, SPSS, Qlikview, Cognos, ResQ would be an added advantage.

- Ability to lead and mentor team members as and when required

Education Qualification :

- Bachelors / Masters in Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Economics, International Business, Insurance Management (or) Masters in Science with an MBA

- Individuals who have cleared actuarial exams will have an added advantage

Eligibility :

- Minimum of 10-12 years work experience, with exposure managing a team size of 25 individuals.

- Flexibility to work with different countries (time-zones), groups, and business environment.

- Insurance industry experience would be preferred
