Basic Information :

Position Title : AVP

Department : Prime Brokerage

Location : Bangalore and Delhi

Institutional Sales

Job Purpose :

- Business development (Domestic side)

- Empanel Portfolio Managers and Alternative Investment Funds for our PB Offering of Custody, Fund Accounting and Broking

- Empanel Domestic stock brokers and NBFC's for clearing and lending business respectively.

- Very aggressive Client Engagement

- Networking with external agencies like.. Law firms, Tax Firms, banks, exchanges and software vendors etc.

Key Responsibilities :

Managerial Responsibilities :

- Scaling up business

- Extensive Traveling

Functional Responsibilities :

- On boarding of PMS & AIF & MF for custody and fund accounting business.

- Analyzing any potential risk or issues with client

- Cross selling and servicing to existing and prospects.

- Meeting existing and new stock brokers on regular basis to identify new opportunities and resolving issues to increase turnover.

- Meeting banks and exchanges to explore new opportunities and prospective clients.

- Meeting Wealth managers and Registered investment adviosers and help them float AIF and PMS

- On boarding of new members (Stock Brokers and NBFC's) for clearing and lending business.

Job Requirements :

Qualifications : MBA (Marketing) With Finance or CA

Experience : 5-8 years

- Preferable experience with Wealth management firms or PMS or AIF or MF, Exchange Functional Competencies

- Clear understanding of products

- Should be passionate about stock markets

- Good Presentation skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong hold on Finance subject and capital markets knowledge

- Behavioral Competencies

- Client first attitude

- Interacting with people via meetings or social media to tap any new opportunities.

- Strong networking skills

Internal :

Nature or purpose of interaction

Ops Team : For routine account setting during on boarding of new clients.

GRG team : Any approvals in exceptions for PMS,AIFs

Legal Team : To coordinate for faster on boarding of clients.

ECL Ops : For faster Go to Live approach

External :

Nature or purpose of interaction :

Stock Exchanges - For new prospects in clearing business and any issues with them

Banks - For new prospects and credit limits to existing clients.
