Job Overview:

As the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in driving our HR strategies and initiatives to support the organization's growth and objectives.

This position requires an experienced HR professional with a strong background in Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partnering (HRBP). The AVP-HR will be responsible for overseeing talent acquisition processes, managing employee relations, implementing HR policies and procedures, and collaborating with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for various positions within the organization.

- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, utilizing various channels such as social media, job boards, referrals, and campus hiring.

- Build and maintain a strong employer brand to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.

- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans to meet business objectives.

HR Business Partnering:

- Serve as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.

- Proactively identify HR issues and trends within the organization and develop tailored solutions to address them.

- Work closely with department heads to drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture.

- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies and practices.

HR Policy and Compliance:

- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations and advise management on potential impact and necessary actions.

- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with HR policies and identify areas for improvement.

Employee Relations:

- Handle employee relations issues effectively, including grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations and recommend appropriate resolutions.

- Promote a culture of open communication and mutual respect to foster positive employee relations across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience (8+ years) in HR roles, with a focus on Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partnering, preferably in the BPO or service industry.

- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and techniques, with a track record of successfully filling positions at various levels.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Sound knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR practices in India.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into HR initiatives.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) will be an advantage.
