Some boutique investment banks and corporates  Overview of the Assistant Vice President Role :   - A multi-faceted role requiring the individual to manage the Human Resources department independently including recruitment and strategy HR  - Assist the SVP in the development and growth of the department  - This position will directly report to the SVP and will be a part of the core senior management in the company  - This role would be key to managing non-financial delivery operations and helping them scale to achieve growth of the company strategically  - Post a couple of years, the company would also be looking to expand operations in other ways, including the possibility of setting up another delivery center in a separate location  Responsibilities :   Strategic Contribution :  - Managing the entire Talent Acquisition Process across levels and functions  - Building and implementing a robust talent review and build process, including succession planning and leadership development  - Constantly reviewing the current HR practices to (or intending to ) making them more effective  - Analyzing and estimating short-term and long-term capacity (Manpower planning)  - Running analytics on streamlining capacity versus bench  Leadership :  - Providing leadership in development of the workforce to ensure high levels of retention and achievement  - Enhancing Organizations reputation, Brand Equity by drawing on and participating in professional HR grid Events & Conferences  - Evaluating existing HR processes, by defining problems, measuring current state of process, root cause analysis, developing solutions to improve the process and establishing measurement systems  - Managing the sustainability of the growing team strength  Operational Management :  - Building a plan for succession across key positions to ensure continuity in business performance  - Monitoring existing and emerging skills gaps, discuss plans for Individual Development or plans for acquisition of outside talent  - Discussing emerging manpower needs with the BU Head to build a contour of long-term business plans  Prerequisites :  - Strong experience in the HR gamut  - 8 - 10 years of work experience in the HR space  Compensation : Commensurate with industry standards   Job Location : Andheri (E), Mumbai
