THE CANDIDATE : Academic : - Must be a Engineer + MBA with 17-22 years experience Must have experience : - Engineer+MBA with 17-25 years' experience in manufacturing operations, out of which past 5 years in leadership role. - Handled 1500cr+ turnover - Managed multiple plants at multiple locations - Managed own as well as third party production units - Experience in assembly line manufacturing with multiple small value SKU's - Experience in Auto component, white goods, consumer durables, plastic, furniture, etc - Must have good knowledge of SAP & ERP software for production, supply chain and order mgmt. - Reported directly to Top management - Adopting new technology, techniques & tools - Operational excellence, TQM, TPM - Knowledge of costing & marketing Softer Attributes : - Strong understanding of corporate Culture and performance management principles - Familiarity with diverse business functions such as Sales and marketing, Design, Supply chain and finance etc. - An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills - Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and public speaking skills - Good Mental agility, Team building, Systems implementation, Ability to unlearn & learn, Intellectual humility, Patience - Multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and adjust priorities to meet deadlines KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Role : Handling of Manufacturing Operations for the Plastic Molding Plants and Approved Sources at various locations in India. - Responsible for Plant Operations, Capex control and Cost management, Integrated Management systems monitoring and control, Drive Operations Excellence with sustainability in Mind. Deliverables : - The Operation Head is responsible for collaborating with the Promoters & Leadership team in developing the company's strategic directives, implementing strategy and managing the overall portfolio of growth and profitability. - Responsible for all factory and plant Effective operations in terms of delivering KPIs including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, NPD Launching at mfg levels, Assembly operations and atomization with Employee Engagement and participation. - Responsible for supporting business growth by planning the manufacturing capacities and execution within required time frame as necessary. - Responsible for management, performance, development and continuous improvement of the factories and supply chain monitoring to support the specific needs of the business. - Responsible for timely addressing Customer Complaints and apply effective Corrective and Preventive actions across all the units. - Define and monitor efficiency, effectiveness and success of the operations activities using adequate controlling tools - Report operations specific KPI's to higher management and develop monetary, quality and targets to be achieved within a defined period. - Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team
