Assistant Vice President - Global Contract & Category Sourcing - Consumer Goods

The Candidates needs to source from Asian Countries & put products on ecommerce platform.

Building & executing the end-to-end category strategy for sourcing and logistics of hardline and softline consumer goods.

Role:

1. Select, build, and manage strategic partnerships with global contract manufacturers to achieve an optimal balance on value, quality, speed to market and responsible sourcing.

2. Plan and build a framework on global shippment , logistics and warehousing.

3. Absolute focus on quality control at suppliers.

4. Cooridnation and implementions of quality control measures at the supplier factory .

5. Looking at certfication requirements for various products .

6. Working with certfification and inspection companies.

7. Handel Sales & Purchase operations.

Competencies :

1) 2 years in a role managing global category and strategic sourcing teams for consumer products

2) 3-5 years' experience in contract manufacturing of a wide range of hardline and softline consumer goods for global retail or e-ecommerce organizations across several geographies including Asia-Pacific.

3) Have a strong working knowledge of logistics and shippement matters

4) Aware of product certfification requirements that are required for imprting products into US .

5) Wide exposure to trade fairs and other sourcing platforms
