Reporting activities

- Team leading role covering Financial Reporting and Accounting

- Preparation of monthly packs for top management highlighting significant and detailed analysis with commentary. Providing an insight into cost drivers.

- Reporting in strict standardized format and adhering to deadlines with quality.

- Understanding of business by providing suggestions to create efficiencies and create cost models.

Analysis of cost

- Pre-month end analysis of expenses before the close. Providing summary reports to provide them the heads-up on the close numbers.

- Carrying on ad-hoc analysis queries

- Holding calls with stakeholders and arriving at providing solutions in time bound scenarios

Team leading activities

- Coaching team members on reporting and other activities. Providing feedback and mid-year, year-end appraisals of the team.

- Reporting in strict timeliness and KPI's, taking calls on issues in KPI's.

- Looking at teams training and development needs.

- Handing of various projects related to system changes, handing the activities to ensure that there is no slippage and last minute surprises.

Qualification and Experience:

- CA is mandatory

- 7-12 years experience in FPA preferably in Capital Markets domain

- 4-5 years experience in team management is essential
